Saamis Drive to be closed Thursday for patching

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Due to weather, previously scheduled patching work for Saamis Drive Northwest has been postponed to Thursday.
Crews will be performing asphalt patching on the road, where a major construction project has been underway through the summer. The work was originally scheduled for Wednesday.
The road will be closed between Box Springs Road Northwest and Broadway Avenue East. Traffic will be detoured onto the Trans-Canada Highway while the closure is in effect.
The intersections of Saamis Drive and Broadway Avenue in Redcliff and Saamis Drive Northwest and Box Springs Road Northwest will remain open to traffic.
