The Medicine Hat Tigers will on Saturday evening kick off its 2024-25 campaign with high expectations after an early playoff exit last year.
Single game tickets can be purchased online, by phone or at the box office in Co-op Place.
The Tigers will host the Edmonton Oil Kings for the season opener.
Puck drop is at 7 p.m. The game can listened to on Wild 94.5.

The Medicine Hat Brewing Company is hosting Oktoberfest Friday and Saturday.
The restaurant will offer authentic German dishes, beer releases and a cask, according to an event page.
Pork schnitzel, paired with Blood Orange Ale braised red cabbage, spaetzle and gravy, will also be available, among other options.

An Alberta Culture Days event is taking place at Police Point Park.
Saturday will feature pow wow dancers, cultural crafts and bannock over the fire.
Sunday will have Metis Fiddle Music, Metis jigging and spoons and bannock over the fire.
Both days run from 1 to 3 p.m., and organizers suggest bringing a lawn chair.

The 2024 coin and stamp show is running Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. at the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede grounds.

The Brooks Bandits will have its first home opener as a BCHL team on Saturday.
The hockey team was one of several that left behind the Alberta junior league last year.
The Bandits host the Okotoks Oilers at 7 p.m., with a tailgate scheduled for 5 p.m.
