Fire fighters respond to alarm at Quality Inn early Monday

MEDICINE HAT — The sound of a fire alarm roused guests from their slumber early this morning at the Quality Inn on Redcliff Drive S.W. Medicine Hat.

A unit heater in a hallway got a little too warm and set off the fire alarm.

As with any fire alarm, guests were evacuated from the building until fire crews could find the source of the alarm and sound the all clear.

No one was kept out of their room for very long.

No damage was reported as a result of the call which came in a 5:52 a.m.
