Pedestrian hit crossing Third Street downtown

MEDICINE HAT — The driver of a pick up truck has been charged after a pedestrian was hit while crossing Third Street downtown yesterday afternoon.

City police say the truck was turning left from 6th avenue when it collided with the pedestrian around 2 in the afternoon.

The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.
