Colts blank Rebels to close out pre-season, Mohawks & Vikings fall
TABER, AB – On the final night of pre-season action for local high school football teams, it was only the Monsignor McCoy Colts leaving the field with smiles on their faces.
Playing their second and final game of the pre-season on Friday night, the Colts were able to pull out a dominant 36-0 shutout victory over the W.R. Myers Rebels on the road.
They were the only local school to win their exhibition contest however, as both the Medicine Hat High Mohawks and Crescent Heights Vikings dropped their Friday evening contests.
Battling the Holy Rosary Raiders in Lloydminster, the Mohawks were blanked by a 17-0 score up north.
