Man arrested after hanging onto moving vehicle

Domestic dispute goes public

MEDICINE HAT — The sight of a man hanging onto the side of a moving vehicle near Dunmore Road and Southview Drive S.E. around 6 last night – brought lots of calls to city police.

Witnesses saw the female driver asking for help as she drove with a male holding onto the opened rear window of the SUV.

The vehicle stopped near 20th avenue and Dunmore road where the 37 year old male who was hanging onto the vehicle received treatment from paramedics for minor injuries before being taken into custody by police.

Investigators say the two people were domestic partners and are not from Medicine Hat.
