Highway 1 open to through traffic

CYPRESS COUNTY, AB — Highway 1 is now open in both directions between the Hamlet of Walsh and Highway 41 north for through traffic only.

The mandatory evacuation of Irvine remains in effect, so access to Irvine is still not permitted.

The county says air quality is being monitored in the affected areas.
