Another successful Exhibition and Stampede, says GM

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Every year organizers of the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede commit to putting on the biggest and best annual show in southeastern Alberta.

They rarely disappoint and this year was no different.

Helped by good weather – though, a little windy at times – great rodeo stock, a solid turnout of local talent for the Better Living show, rockin’ stage acts and a jam-packed midway, this year’s event is now in the books as a success.

But while there is plenty of paid talent on display, those who work behind the scenes are mostly volunteers.

For Jim MacArthur, they are the backbone of putting on a great show each year.

“The thing that is the same every year – and I mean this sincerely – is the resolve of the volunteers. That’s always been there and its as strong as its ever been and perhaps even stronger,” said MacArthur.

MacArthur says planning for the 2020 edition of the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede is already underway.
