RCMP confirm deceased male is missing driver

Brooks, AB – The RCMP have confirmed that the deceased male located on Tuesday morning by the Brooks Fire Department is Joseph Given of Calgary.

The search for Given began after his vehicle was found submerged in a ravine last Friday about 20 kilometres west of Brooks.

The RCMP will continue to investigate the death in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Calgary.
