SPCA Board of Directors delays annual general meeting
MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat SPCA Board of Directors has issued a statement saying it will be rescheduling its annual general meeting.
The statement comes after allegations of a lack of transparency within the organization and the board. The statement says the annual general meeting will be delayed until a ‘later date’.
The full statement reads:
“The MHSPCA Board is in the process of hiring an outside independent consultant to review the recent allegations and therefore we find it prudent to delay our Annual General Meeting to a later date; after the completion of the investigation. An announcement on the date of the AGM will be made at that time.”
