Midget AA Hounds trounce West Central in a 9-1 walk
ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE, AB – A third period line brawl overshadowed a dominant performance by the Medicine Hat Midget AA Hounds in their only game of the weekend Saturday.
Medicine Hat lit the lamp nine times against the top-ranked West Central Tigers, rolling through the Rocky Mountain House club to pick up a 9-1 victory in a game that saw over 170 penalty minutes dished out.
Cam Hall and Brandon Kasdorf netted two goals for Medicine Hat over the opening four minutes to take an early 2-0 lead, however West Central pulled within a goal thanks to a power play marker from Caileb Berge before the end of the period.
Doing some damage on the power play themselves, the Hounds added back-to-back goals on the man advantage in the second period from Jacob Milne and Brady Dovichak to make it a 4-1 game.
