Wyrostok reflects on life-changing year
MEDICINE HAT, AB — 2018 was a year of many changes for Caleb Wyrostok.
The former member of the SEAC Tigers was drafted by the Swift Current Broncos in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft, becoming the first Medicine Hat player to be selected since 2013.
The year also saw Wyrostok move to Edmonton, joining the Northern Alberta Elite 15’s.
“It was a nice jump, it was a nice change,” Wyrostok said during a return to Medicine Hat recently. “Being around a bunch of skilled guys, the same as me, I think it’s been really beneficial to my play. Obviously, the coaching staff is great up there, so that’s been a huge help too.”
