Habitat For Humanity Southern Alberta announces new build project in Southlands
MEDICINE HAT, AB — Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta have announced they plan to build a new home for two families in Medicine Hat.
The organization announced a new build project in the 5000 block of Southlands Drive Southeast, giving two families an opportunity to build and own a home next year.
“The city really helped us out,” said Cal Nordlee, co-chair of Habitat for Humanity’s Medicine Hat Regional Community. “They put $70,000, which is their normal half-and-half towards the purchase of this lot. We’re going to build a duplex here for two families.”
