Overtime blues for Tigers on Saturday, falling 3-2 to Prince Albert
MEDICINE HAT, AB – Overtime has not been kind to the Medicine Hat Tigers as of late, losing for the second time in three games in the extra frame to the Prince Albert Raiders.
Raiders defenceman Vojtech Budik stepped up as Saturday’s hero, scoring exactly one minute into overtime to send the Tigers to their third straight loss 3-2.
After a quiet first period, Tigers captain Mark Rassell opened up the scoring midway through the second with his 39th goal of the season with a nifty goal getting around Raiders netminder Ian Scott.
