Mohawks down by Rams on basketball court

LETHBRIDGE, AB — The Medicine Hat High School Mohawks were blown away by the Lethbridge Collegiate Institute Rams in their final game before the holiday break.

In senior varsity action, the Rams stormed ahead, defeating the Mohawks 100-67 in Lethbridge Tuesday night.

Bailey Gosse had 15 points for the Mohawks, followed by Ethan Egert with nine.

On the junior varsity side, the Mohawks were handed an 88-41 loss by the Rams. Austin Walton and Emad Ibrahim combined for 23 points for the Mohawks.

The Mohawks return to action on January 16, taking on the Chinook Coyotes.

The Hat High Kwahommies play their final game before the Christmas break tonight, hosting the Rams at Hat High. The junior varsity girls play at 6 p.m., while the seniors play at 8 p.m.
