Pythons stopped in Provincial Championship

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Parkside Pythons came up short in the Alberta Bantam Football Provincial Championship over the weekend.
The Pythons were defeated by the Notre Dame Cougars out of Red Deer in the Tier 2 provincial finals on Saturday by a score of 20-12.
According to head coach Lloyd Bray, the game was a hard-fought one all the way to the finish, with the Cougars leading 7-6 at halftime.
The loss was the first for the Pythons all season.
