Brief court appearance for man charged following June 7 river search
MEDICINE HAT, AB — The man charged with making a false report in connection with a massive search of the South Saskatchewan River in June made his first court appearance on Thursday.
Drew Tweed, 41, briefly appeared in Medicine Hat provincial court, where his matters were adjourned to August 17. Tweed is expected to enter a plea on that date.
Tweed was charged on June 15, eight days following a massive search of the South Saskatchewan River.
