Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – March 15
Mad Hatter
I hate that minimum wage keeps increasing. Do people not realize that by increasing minimum wage, the price of living will also increase so really the only people losing out are those of us who are just above that line as it is. Unfortunately, I used to be making about $6.00 more than minimum wage but do you think my wage also increases when the cost of EVERYTHING does? No. I’m sorry but I don’t see how flipping a burger requires $15.00 an hour. You want to get paid more, strive to get a better job. Now everyone else gets to suffer. Small businesses, family run places, the 9-5 worker.
Happy Hatter
I am happy to see another person speak up about the negative tweets of our local MLA. NDP came into power with major challenges including the Fort McMurray fire. PC was in power for how many years? At any time did bankruptcies, huge lost jobs, double digit mortgage rates occur during those years of power? This MLA is definitely old enough to remember those troubling turbulent times or has he forgotten them intentionally?
Mad Hatter
I see all the violence issues in the States and it makes me sad. Look to Australia who has found a way to restrict and stop those mass shootings. I think Canada should also be looking at Australia Restriction of Guns Laws as well. Let’s be proactive instead of reactive.
Mad Hatter
Our PM is so sensitive and precious, and he is trying to turn Canada into a “participation trophy” nation. The world isn’t always nice. The world isn’t always fair. But with his “peoplekind” and Bill “C16” it feels like we are on a road to George Orwell’s 1984.
