Tigers to wear Don Cherry themed jerseys during March 3 game

MEDICINE HAT, AB — For the first time in team history, the Medicine Hat Tigers will be wearing themed jerseys during a WHL game.

On March 3, the Tigers will be taking part in the WHL Suits Up with Don Cherry event. The league-wide initiative was created to promote organ donation and support the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Remax is the game sponsor.

During the game against the Red Deer Rebels, the Tigers will wear Don Cherry themed jerseys, which will be auctioned off through live and silent auctions and a jersey raffle. All proceeds from the auctions will benefit the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

The first 3,000 fans in attendance will also receive a wrist band with the chance to win a special-edition Don Cherry bobblehead.

Tickets for the game are still available and can purchased through Ticketmaster or at the Canalta Centre box office.
