No injuries after bus, delivery truck collide at intersection

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Medicine Hat police were kept busy briefly Tuesday afternoon following a collision between a bus and a delivery truck.

According to a news release, emergency services responded at 1:44 p.m. to a collision involving a Medicine Hat Transit bus and a Ford E-450 delivery truck at the intersection of 13 Avenue SE and the Trans-Canada Highway interchange.

Police say the bus entered the intersection on a green light at the driver of the truck made an illegal left turn into the path of the bus. The two vehicles collided, and the truck was pushed into a traffic light.

No passengers were on the bus at the time, as it was conducting a driver training exercise, and no injuries were reported.
