Taber man facing charges following Saturday assault

TABER, AB — A 40-year-old Taber man is facing several charges after a man was assaulted with a weapon on Saturday.

According to a news release, Taber Police received a complaint regarding an assault in the 5000 block of 43rd Avenue at 4:23 p.m. Investigation revealed a Taber man allegedly threatened a male victim with a knife after an altercation and allegedly uttered threats to kill the victim.

The victim received injuries to his fingers from the knife.

Donald Bourassa is charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and uttering threats.
