Hounds defeated 7-3 by Stampeders

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Can Pak Environmental Hounds were unable to hold onto their lead Sunday night.

Taking on the Northwest Calgary Stampeders, the Hounds were ahead 3-2 after the first period, however, the Stampeders came back in the second, winning 7-3.

Brayden Anderson, Jacob Milne and Carson Dingwall all scored in the first period for the Hounds, however the Stampeders scored two goals in the second and three in the third, including an empty net goal, to get the win.

No scoring information was available for Calgary on the South Central Alberta Hockey League website.

Dawsen Savage was in goal for the Hounds, making 31 saves.

The Hounds fall to 8-9 during the season, and play their final game of 2017 on Friday, hosting the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the Kinplex. The puck drops at 7:15 p.m.

The Hounds will break for Christmas, and resume play on January 6.
