So happy with the new library theatre – it looks amazing and the seats are so comfortable!

Driving up Parkview – it is 50 km/h until after the light on Parkview and Twentieth intersection – this hasn’t changed.  It is not 60 or 70 km/h, slow down you are putting others at risk.

Mad at the uninformed, unaware drivers in our city!! Followed one big truck in Crescent Heights this morning with a personalized license plate. It came down Hatcher Drive, then drove as if going to turn right at the Division Avenue lights. But wait, instead, he cut me off and turned left at the lights to go down Division Ave past CHHS. Slowed down to 30 in the school zone but wait a minute, school zone at 7:06 a.m. is not in effect so instead of doing 50km like he is supposed to, he does 36! Wait, we’re not done yet. Then he uses a bike lane as an actual lane for about a block before he turns right onto 12th Street! Unbelievable! There were many more driving infractions but come on, GET A GRIP DUDE!

I am insanely thrilled that West Jet will be operating out of the Hat come this spring! Just booked a flight for less than 350$ roundtrip to Toronto! That is what I am talking about!

How many vehicles speed down Parkview drive (it is still 50 at this part of the road) and rush to get in front of others.  Do realize there is 75% chance you will get a yellow or red light at the bottom of the hill?  For the few seconds you save speeding down the hill gives a higher potential to wait longer at the light at the bottom of the hill.

Happy to see the support that local businesses give to the Santa Claus Fund. So many kids will have a Merry Christmas this year because of the Santa Claus Fund and the great local businesses and donors that support it.
