UCP leader Jason Kenney speaks to rural municipalities

Nov 18, 2017 | 8:12 AM

United Conservative Party Leader Jason Kenney is trying to woo rural municipal leaders.

Kenney told the Alberta Association of Municipal Districts and Counties yesterday that the N-D-P has damaged the province and the U-C-P can repair it.

He says a U-C-P government would scrap the carbon tax, the shutdown of thermal coal operations and new workplace safety legislation for farm workers.

Kenney says N-D-P policies have killed jobs and chased investment out of rural communities.
