Vehicle stop nets crystal meth, bear spray

MEDICINE HAT, ALTA- A 28 year old man is in police custody, after being pulled over by police early Wednesday morning. According to the on-duty staff sergeant, the man was pulled over in the 700 Block of 8 Street Southwest end of the city, close to the Trans-Canada Highway. Police determined he was out on judicial interim release conditions and was found to be in breach of his conditions and he was arrested on the briefs. Further investigation into the traffic stop led police into a drug investigation on the male. Police located and seized 57.75 grams of methamphetamine, 22.84 grams of marijuana, 6.4 grams of crack cocaine, 1 gram of cannabis resin, bear spray, a folding knife and a scope. The weapons were in violation of a release order. Justin Yuhas has been charged for the above offences, and is in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
