Alternate route for traffic downtown Medicine Hat due to construction

MEDICINE HAT, AB. – Beginning on Sunday September 24, 2017 South Railway Street and 5th Streeet SE intersection will be closed for construction, set to begin on September 25, 2017.

A traffic accessing downtown from the south will have to use a detour, using Hill Road SE to 5th Avenue SE, to Dundee Street SE and then enter downtown on 6th Avenue. (5th Street SE will be at South Railway Street SE and will allow U turns)

The detour is expected to be in affect from September 24th until the work is completed, approximately the third week in October.
