Two motorcyclists from Okotoks killed in crash near Black Diamond

BLACK DIAMOND, AB — A man and a woman riding motorcycles have both died following a collision near Black Diamond Thursday night.
Turner Valley RCMP responded to the collision at 9:09 p.m.
According to a release, the two motorcyclists were travelling east on Highway 543, east of 128 Street. Early investigation from the RCMP indicates the motorcyclists were attempting to pass vehicles when they both struck a truck carrying a flat deck trailer.
The motorcyclists were a 48-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man, both from Okotoks.
