Water advisory at Writing-On-Stone lifted

The water quality advisory for Milk River at Writing-On-Stone Provincial Park has been lifted.
Alberta Health Services had previously advised residents not to swim or wade in the section of the river running through the park.
The advisory went into effect due to elevated levels of fecal coliforms detected through testing of the river.
Visitors and residents of the area are still reminded not to drink or cook with untreated water from any lake reservoir, at any time.
