Parade day brings closures and restrictions

MEDICINE HAT, AB. – It’s parade day in Medicine Hat and that means road closures and parking restrictions.
 
As of 7:30 this morning, on-street parking is not allowed between the 800, 800 A and 900 blocks of Second Street SE and in the 800 block of Third Street S.E.   Parking restrictions are also in place as of 7:30 for Allowance Avenue and Woodman Avenue s.e.
 
Finlay Bridge, Maple Avenue Bridge and Maple Avenue from First to Third Street s.e. will be closed for the duration of the parade, as of 8:30.
 
The parade itself begins at 9 o’clock and will work it’s way through the downtown core.
