Watson finishes first in 400 metre hurdles at Pac-12 Championship this weekend

EUGENE, OREGON — Sage Watson continues to run away with the competition in the NCAA.

Watson, who is originally from Seven Persons and competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil, finished in first place for University of Arizona  in women’s 400 hurdles for at the Pacific 12 Conference Track and Field Championships in Oregon this weekend.

Watson finished with a time of 55.01 seconds, slightly ahead of Anna Cockrell from the University of Southern California (USC).

Watson also added a third-place finish in the women’s 4×400 relay with the Wildcats. USC and Oregon finished in first and second place, respectively.
