Dr. Ken Sauer to be inducted into Sports Wall of Fame

MEDICINE HAT, AB — A prominent Medicine Hat man is being recognized for his legacy of helping Medicine Hat sports.
Dr. Ken Sauer is being inducted into the Medicine Hat Sports Wall of Fame on Wednesday, May 31. Sauer is being recognized for “his volunteerism, dedication and leadership as a community builder in sports and recreation,” according to a release from the city.
Among his many accomplishments, Sauer was involved with committees to bring the Alberta Winter and Summer Games to Medicine Hat.
The ceremony begins at 7 p.m. at the Family Leisure Centre. The city is asking guests to RSVP by May 24 by calling 403-525-8680.
