MEDICINE HAT — We’re less than two days away from the Calgary Rage and Lethbridge Steel opening the WWCFL regular season at the Methanex Bowl.

Both ladies squads are putting the finishing touches on their game plans in what’s sure to be a memorable day of football in Medicine Hat.

For Steel head coach Justin “Till” Tillery, he’s returning to the city which kick started his football career 18 years ago. A former player and coach for the Hat High Mohawks, he says he’s well accustomed to how “football crazy” the Gas City is, and the local crowd will not be disappointed in Saturday’s game.

Saturday’s clash will be Till’s first in the Hat since joining the Steel several years ago. CHAT TV’s Mitch Bach caught up with the Hat High alumni to discuss what it means to return to his former city and how his ladies are feeling heading into a difficult test against the Rage.
