Bob Will is moving on from Being Human Services.

Will, who worked as the Director of Marketing and Job Development, has been with the company for the past two and half years.

He’ll be moving over to a new job in Medicine Hat.

In a written statement posted to his personal Twitter page on Thursday, April 13, Will said his time with the company was life-changing.

“Today I have a heavy heart as it will be my last day with the company that has meant so much to me,” read the statement.

“As this door closes, another has opened and I have the opportunity to put my stamp on a company that has been a part of Medicine Hat for over 40 years and is looking for a fresh start.”

Will told CHAT NEWS Monday he will now be working at the Travelodge Hotel in Medicine Hat, in sales and marketing.

Pamela Wagner, the Managing Director at Being Human Services, said Will had done amazing work with the company, and that they were happy and sad to see him move on.

“It’s always a real compliment to a company when one of your good people is recruited to a better opportunity,” said Wagner.

“We wish him well, but you can’t hold people back.”

Wagner indicated that Will’s position will not be filled in the near future, with other members of the company stepping in to continue the work.

According to the Medicine Hat Chamber of Commerce webpage, Being Human Services works to assist organizations and individuals to assess needs, develop plans, and to discover and connect with resources.
