Peewee Hockey Hounds win provincial championship

LLOYDMINSTER, AB – The Medicine Hat Hockey Hounds are the top peewee hockey team in the province.

The Tier 1 Hounds were victorious at the Provincial Championship in Lloydminster, downing Sherwood Park 8-2 in the gold medal game on Sunday.

Tyler Broesky had a hat trick, while Taiga Hernandez had two goals and two assists through the game to lead the Hounds in scoring. Kaden Pahl, Jeffrey Bullock and Wyatt Bishop also scored for the Hounds.

Benjamin Feil and Brayden Westerlund had the lone goals for Sherwood Park.
