Date set for Len Mitzel memorial

MEDICINE HAT, AB —A former member of the legislative assembly for Cypress-Medicine Hat will be laid to rest tomorrow.
The funeral for Len Mitzel will take place at 1 p.m. at the Foremost Community Hall.
Mitzel passed away Sunday following a battle with cancer. He was 71 years old.
The Etzikom native served as an MLA from 2004 to 2012 with the Progressive Conservative party, and started his political career as a councillor and reeve in the County of 40 Mile.
