Butcher named to WHL All-Star Team

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Chad Butcher can add Western Hockey League All-Star to his list of accolades this season.

The Medicine Hat Tigers forward was named to the Eastern Conference second All-Star team on Wednesday. He is the first Tiger to be named to an All-Star team since the 2014-15 season.

Butcher led the Tigers in points this season, notching 27 goals and 76 assists for 103 points in 68 games played.

Bantam draft order announced

The WHL Bantam draft order has been set.

The Medicine Hat Tigers will select 21st overall during the annual draft, which takes place in Calgary on May 4.

The Prince Albert Raiders will pick first overall in the draft.
