GLENDALE, Ariz. — Marek Langhamer finally made it to the show.

The former goaltender for the Medicine Hat Tigers made his NHL debut Sunday night, making seven saves to help the Arizona Coyotes hang on for the 3-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks at the Gila River Arena.

Langhamer took to the ice in the third period and played for 15 minutes, facing eight shots and stopping seven. His biggest save came with one second left in the game, stopping Ducks defenseman Sami Vatanen’s shot to give the Coyotes the win.

Langhamer played three seasons with the Medicine Hat Tigers, finishing with a 68-42 record. The Czech Republic goaltender, who was the final goaltender selected in the WHL Import Draft to play in the league, was drafted by the Coyotes in the seventh round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. This season, he has played for the Tuscon Roadrunners of the AHL and the Rapid City Rush of the ECHL.
