AHS says person with measles visited multiple locations in Calgary and Cochrane
CALGARY, AB — Albertans who visited multiple stores, businesses and restaurants in Calgary and Cochrane over the past week may have been exposed to measles.
Alberta Health Services released the information Thursday afternoon, noting an individual with lab-confirmed measles visited several public places in Calgary and Cochrane between Match 5 and 12.
“We first learned the case of lab-confirmed measles on March 13 in the Calgary Zone, and it is travel-related,” said Dr. Jia Hu, Medical Officer of Health in the Calgary Zone, over the phone on Thursday.
