Tigers to wear Don Cherry themed jerseys during game in March

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Western Hockey League will once again be suiting up with special jerseys to help promote organ donation.

The WHL, along with Re/Max, will be hosting WHL Suits Up with Don Cherry games throughout the season from January to March. Teams will be wearing special Don Cherry themed jerseys, and distributing limited edition Don Cherry bobbleheads during the game.

Medicine Hat will be wearing the jerseys during their game on March 9th. The jerseys will be auctioned off during the game, with all proceeds being donated to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Last year, the Tigers raised nearly $50,000 for the foundation.
