Etem invited to Los Angeles Kings camp

LOS ANGELES, CA — Emerson Etem is getting another chance at cracking a NHL roster.

Etem, who was released from his contract by the Arizona Coyotes in January, is attending the Los Angeles Kings’ training camp on a professional tryout, according to a report from TSN.

Etem was a member of the Medicine Hat Tigers from 2009-2012. He led all rookies in the WHL in scoring in 2009, and finished his WHL career with a total of 143 goals and 109 assists for 252 points.

He was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the first round, 29th overall, during the NHL Entry Draft in 2010. In addition to the Ducks, Etem has also player with the New York Rangers and the Vancouver Canucks during his NHL career, in addition to spending multiple seasons with the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.
