Canadian defender Allysha Chapman goes to North Carolina in NWSL dispersal draft
Canadian international defender Allysha Chapman went 10th overall to the North Carolina Courage in Tuesday’s dispersal draft of Boston Breakers players.
The Breakers officially folded Sunday, reducing the NWSL to a nine-team league.
Chapman joins fellow Canadian Sabrina D’Angelo in North Carolina.
Canadian striker Adriana Leon went 18th to Sky Blue FC. She joins fellow Canadians Kailen Sheridan, Janine Beckie and Amandine Pierre-Louis at the New Jersey-based team.
