Man who pleaded guilty to drug trafficking no-shows sentencing; warrant issued
MEDICINE HAT, AB — A man who pleaded guilty to his role in a major drug bust earlier this year did not show up for his scheduled sentencing.
Paul Rasmussen, 45, was a no-show at Medicine Hat provincial court on Tuesday. He pleaded guilty to 20 charges in connection with a May 2017 drug seizure last month.
Rasmussen was arrested along with Siofean Coderre, 43, on May 25, following an investigation involving the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT), RCMP and the Medicine Hat Police Service’s Organized Crime Unit.
