Bill Millington

1938 ~ 2024

Mr. William George ‘Bill’ Millington, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth ‘Bette’ Millington, passed away in Medicine Hat on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the age of 86 years.

Bill’s memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of his children: Rob (Dana Rayner) Millington, Rick (Sheri) Millington, Mike Millington, Rory (Karen Leier) Crawford and Penn (Scott) Bergdahl;  grandchildren, Justin, Dakota, Sienna, Kody, Kassidy, Cruz and Gavin; great-grandchildren, Kaysia and Jordyn as well as close family friend, Michelle LeBlanc Millington.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Helen Millington as well as his son, William Joseph Millington.

Bill spent many years as a grader operator, a job he truly loved and took great pride in. His meticulous nature extended beyond his work, as he tenderly cared for his wife’s flowers, ensuring they thrived even after her passing. Bill was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a deep love for classic country music, which was often the soundtrack to his days. He cherished the warmth of the sun and took great pride in maintaining his home, a place that brought him comfort and happiness. Bill’s dedication to his work, his home, and his late wife’s memory will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed and his memory will live on within the hearts of all those whose lives he touched.

A Celebration with family and close friends will be held at the family’s residence, 359 Cambridge Street S.E., Medicine Hat on Saturday, August 24, 2024, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
