Violet Emily Willows of Medicine Hat passed away on December 17, 2018, at the age of 94 years, beloved wife of the late Orval Willows and loving mother to Harriet (Roger) Gimmel, Hazel (Lawrence) Wells, Helen Paul, Peggy Hanson, Gwen Schimpf and one daughter-in-law Monica Hazzard. She is survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; three brothers, Rueben McDonald, Charlie (Anne) Hazzard, Bill (Dorothy) Hazzard; her sister, Marg Teichroeb as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Violet was predeceased by her parents Celia and Rueben McDonald; stepfather, Charles Hazzard; step-sister, Eileen; two sons, Johnny and Keith; her sister, Georgina Harrison; two son-in-laws, Urbain Paul and Bob Schimpf; sister-in-law, Mary McDonald; brother-in-laws, Roland Harrison and Don Tuchroeb. The interment of ashes will take place at a later date.
