1930 ~ Sui Wong ~ 2022

Sui Lung Wong of Medicine Hat passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the age of 91 years, beloved wife of the late Kai Yin Wong. She leaves to cherish her memory five children, Ming (Sheila) Wong, Betty Beck, Ken (Lindy) Wong, Oi (Waldy) Batsel, Sai Ming (Darcee) Wong; eleven grandchildren, Breanna and Matthew Wong, Nathan and Nicole Beck, Jessica and Mikaela Wong, Dillon, Jason, and Celina Batsel, Jordon (Randal) Wong, and Kaitlin (Dallas) Smith; one brother, one sister as well as being blessed with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Kai Yin Wong on July 15, 2009. Sui was born on December 8, 1930, in China where she married Kai Yin in December of 1949. They then moved to Hong Kong before coming to Canada in January of 1972. During her working years, she worked at Foodland IGA, Pink Lantern, and Riverside Restaurant while raising her family. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Iqbal Khurshid officiating and Life Celebrant, Pat Grisonich. The service will be live streamed, and family and friends who are unable to attend are invited to watch the service by searching for the Pattison Funeral Home Youtube page. The video will go live 10 minutes prior to service time and will remain on the youtube page for future viewing. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
