Sire Jeremy Williamson has been actively involved in the education system, including a stint as chair of his local school council from 2018-2019. He’s also written policies for the provincial government and for the Medicine Hat Public School Division’s Council of School Councils.

He says he’s not running for the Medicine Hat Public School Division’s board of trustees for any power, but to bring positive change and superior education to the children.

Williamson has a long list of beliefs online. Among them are the UN declaration that parents have a prior right to choose the education for their children, that family is the bedrock of society, and the foundation of society, and in every person’s right to choose the health care that they want.

He also believes in accountability, honesty, integrity, and ethics, and transparency and giving the public as much information as possible on what goes on in schools.
