She was predeceased by her parents, John and Cordelia Paul as well as her brothers Bobby, Rudy, Tom and sisters Dolores, Lorraine, Irene and Thomias. Shirley was a lifelong resident of Medicine Hat, where she was born, raised and later graduated from McCoy High School. On May 13, 1972, Shirley married Ray, embarking on a journey filled with cherished memories. As a devoted homemaker, Shirley poured her heart into caring for her family. She was a dedicated and supportive mother to her daughter, Karen, and took pride in helping support her parents in their later years, showing a deep sense of family loyalty and compassion.
