Rosemary Joan Sinclair passed away peacefully at Revera – Meadowlands in Medicine Hat on Monday, May 13, 2019, at the age of 89 years. Rosemary leaves to cherish her memory her son, Joseph and his father, Bill; close friend, Angela Green; grandchildren, Jamie, Kyle, Brandon (Kayla Brost) and Julliette; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn; brother, Ken (Donna); special cousin, Anne Voght as well as her cat, Smokey and numerous family members in Ontario. Rosemary was predeceased by her daughter, Debra Anne; parents, Donald and Kathleen and her brother, Donald. Rosemary was born in Toronto, Ontario and raised in Falconbridge, now called Nickel City. At the age of 13 years, she started convent school in Montreal later becoming a nun for more then 10 years. After leaving the convent, Rosemary studied at the University of Toronto as well as attended the Royal Conservatory of Music. She became a teacher and a conductor, offering her an oppportunity to share her talents as a piano player and musician. She loved nature and all activities that she could do to enjoy the outdoors including hiking, swimming and crosscountry skiing. She also loved to sit in her recliner with her cat and read a good book. Rosemary moved to the Yukon, resumed teaching and started selling real estate. This is also where she adopted her son, Joseph and later her daughter, Debbie who passed away in 1990 at the age of 19 years. From the Yukon, she moved to Cranbrook, BC and later retired to Medicine Hat. Rosemary was a very kind and loving mother and grandmother who would help anyone. She will be missed!
