Ronald Alfred ‘Ron’ Theise, beloved husband of the late Judy Theise, passed away peacefully in his sleep while at his residence in Jenner, Alberta on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the age of 78 years. Ron’s memory will live on through his family: son, Robin (Marla) Theise; daughter, Laurel-Lee (David) McMenemy; one granddaughter and four great-grandchildren. Ron is also survived by one sister, Judy (Glenda); three brothers, Tom, Brian and Bruce (Evelyn) as well as numerous extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, Anne and Reinhard Theise; three brothers, Bob, Rick and Terry as well as one sister, Carol. Ron was born in Ottawa, ON., on July 19, 1945, before his family moved to Success, SK., in 1952. It was in the early 60’s that Ron moved to Jenner, AB., where he met the love of his life, Judith Ann Knutson. They were married on February 8, 1969, and a number of years later they purchased the family farm. Ron enjoyed each opportunity to cast his line into the water when visiting their cabin at Suffern Lake. Throughout his time in Jenner, Ron was involved in the community becoming well know and well liked by everyone. He will be missed.
