Ron (Reinhold) Fritz Mauer of Medicine Hat passed away on Saturday, December 9th, 2017 at the age of 82. Ron leaves his children James (Dora) of Wildomar, California, Abbi (Keith) Muncy of Midland, Texas and David (Michelle) of Medicine Hat; five grandchildren, Mark Mauer, Avery Muncy, Jared Muncy, Daniel Mauer, and Roman Mauer. Ron was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marilyn, in 2013; and a grandson, Chad Scott, in 1986. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Rd SE, on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in HILLCREST EVANGELICAL MISSIONARY CHURCH on Wednesday, December 13th, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Mark Bolender officiating. Pre-service viewing from 1:00 to 1:25 p.m. Interment will take place at the family plot at Redcliff Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Ron’s memory may be made to the Prairie Gleaners Society.
